An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Regarding The Mass Firings of FAA Employees

22 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

I would like some help understanding how the recent mass firings of FAA employees will help make America’s airways safer. As a self-employed small business owner, I rely on air travel for a large portion of my work. The recent firings at FAA, especially in light of the rash of aircraft incidents since mid-January, has me extremely concerned about my safety and the safety of my clients who travel with me. Moreover, I fear my business could be impacted drastically by people not trusting our airways to be safe. These firings appear politically motivated, and are in my opinion unethical and possibly unconstitutional. Please let me know what steps you are taking to ensure the safety of all Americans who fly.
