No Tax Breaks for Billionaires

I understand that House Republicans just introduced a budget resolution with over 4 trillion dollars in tax cuts for rich people and corporations, a 4 trillion dollar debt limit increase, AND at least 2 trillion dollars in spending cuts, most of which will come out of Medicaid and SNAP? Are you kidding me? We are going to blow up the deficit, take health care away from 70 million people and take food away from 14 million poor Americans so that Jeff Bezos can get more tax cuts? This is disgusting and I absolutely oppose it. Your campaign promised that you'd work for the people, and I am counting on you to join with other Representatives to hold firm that we will not give more tax breaks to billionaires, and we certainly won't be doing it while DOGE is running rampant through our federal institutions. I know that being the minority party makes progress challenging. I know we need to bring Republican Congressmembers with us. I am embarrassed on behalf of our country that complaints about citizens contacting our representatives - YOU - is becoming a media story. I have this to say: if you have one good reason why Rep. Bentz would appreciate a letter from someone in Eugene, please let me know. Because everyone says out-district voters are wasting their time contacting Republican representatives. A wise woman once said "When we fight, we win." We need that fight now, thank you for being there with us.
