Today Trump replied "Quiet Piggy" when Catherine Lucey, Bloomberg’s White House correspondent, asked a question about the Epstein files.
This is ABUSE.
It is misogyny.
It is an attack on the press.
It is vile and unacceptable.
I am outraged.
You should be too.
Unfortunately, no one should be shocked.
Trump's history of using crude, belittling and abusive language to others, men and women, is well known.
His attempt to humiliate Zelenskyy caused global revulsion.
In 2016 then-candidate Trump boasted:
' "I don't even wait. And when you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. ... Grab 'em by the pussy. You can do anything."[1]
Many commentators and lawyers described such an action as sexual assault.[2] Others argued that the remarks were an assertion that sexual consent is easier to obtain for the famous and wealthy.[3]' [source: Wikipedia, "Donald Trump access Hollywood tape].
Yes, that comment implies sexual assault. It also epitomises the elite impunity that underlies the decades long Epstein trafficking, abuse and pedophilia crimes.
Victims of Epstein deserve justice now.
Release the files.
Trump has already committed numerous high crimes and misdemeanours, including treason by using military force against Americans and giving aid and succour to our foes; he has also wrongly usurped the powers of Congress, including impounding appropriated funds.
And now this: foul abusive language is not an impeachable offense but it is a crime against decency that reveals the character of the man.
What else is he capable of, the man who calls a woman "piggy" and boasts about grabbing women?
Condemn this language.
If the Epstein files implicate Trump, you must impeach him.
