An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Pass the Afghan Adjustment Act NOW. Fulfill America’s Promises.

14 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

WE ASK FOR SWIFT PASSAGE OF THE AFGHAN ADJUSTMENT ACT! We celebrate the bipartisan reintroduction of the Afghan Adjustment Act in both the House and Senate. This marks the third time the bill has been introduced since the fall of Kabul, and once again, veterans, military families, human rights advocates, and faith leaders stand shoulder to shoulder urging Congress to do its part. This cannot become another casualty of Washington inertia. We are operating against a ticking clock. Afghan families—many of whom risked everything to support American missions—remain in legal limbo. Some are already in the U.S., paroled in and waiting for a chance to build stable lives. Others remain in U.S. custody at Camp As Sayliyah in Qatar, at risk of repatriation to the very threat they fled. That would be a moral and strategic failure. ACT today. Congress must act now. We cannot operate on a D.C. timeline while lives hang in the balance. This is a chance to deliver on America's promise.
