Greetings. I am a voting constituent in rural west Texas.
Thought for the day: negligent homicide.
“Negligent homicide has a specific meaning in the law books. The standards of proof and categories of offense vary from state to state. But the essence is: Someone died because someone else did not exercise reasonable care.”
Just saying.
It’s been pointed out for years that if the presidency were any other job, Mr. Trump would have been fired long ago.
But it’s not. So it was left to the American people to do just that. Which we did. Overwhelmingly.
The slowness with which your party is acknowledging this reality is shameful. It is harmful. It is self-serving, not country-serving. And ultimately subversive.
The travesty that was the Giuliani presser at the RNC should have instead been (and could have been) on any number of authoritarian propaganda outlets around the world. Not in America.
And instead of the assumed across-the-board condemnation for such a perverted travesty, we were instead subjected to an official RNC tweet quoting (and supporting) one of Mr. Trump’s lawyer representatives...
"We will not be intimidated...We are going to clean this mess up now. President Trump won by a landslide. We are going to prove it. And we are going to reclaim the United States of America for the people who vote for freedom."—Sidney Powell
So the RNC as a body is now disavowing America’s democratic processes. The Republican Party, of which you are a part, is jumping feet-first into the cesspool.
‘Globalists, dictators, corporations, you name it — everybody’s against us except President Trump.’” Sidney Powell
You might remember that Republican candidates did very well in the recent election. Their President did not. That might tell you that there is some rational part that yet lives in the GOP. That can tell the difference between the Republican Party and the party of Trump. So why do you act like backing a losing Republican President in his current destructive vindictive anger is a winning bet?
You won. He did not. It should do you good to remember that.
