What Won’t Trump Lie About? Now It’s Vaccines!

Donald Trump is a liar. He lies about elections, the economy, wars, the Epstein files, and the criminal records of people he pardons. He makes unsupported boasts about his health, intelligence, and golf game. Now he is lying about vaccines. Trump claimed he had “seen proof” of a vaccination the size of a soda bottle being poured into a little child. An MMR dose is approximately 0.5 mL, about one tenth of a teaspoon. His statement was false, absurd, and medically dangerous. Congressional Republicans know he lies. They agree with him, defend him, or remain silent. When his claim is absurd, they nod. When it is dangerous, they look away. When it is proven false, they attack the facts instead of confronting the liar. Trump has no medical training, yet they allow him to invent public health claims from the Oval Office without consequence. Trump is dangerous because he lies without restraint. Congressional Republicans are dangerous because they refuse to restrain him. Congress must take a stand and correct him publicly, condemn his vaccine lie, and prove that they serve the American people by putting the country ahead of Trump.
