Veto Bill Renaming the Gulf of Mexico

Veto HB2! Alabama is already working against the impression that we are uneducated and ignorant. Don't play into this narrative by changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America. This name change is based on nothing more than political whims. It isn't based in research, science, or even public opinion. Those of us who live on the Gulf coast especially don't want the name change. The Gulf of Mexico is part of our local culture, and the opinion of the rest of the land-locked state really shouldn't override that. Please veto the bill!
