Millions of Women Have No Health Insurance - You Can Fix That

I am your constituent and there are a few problems I would like you to actively address. The first is that 10% of the women in this country DO NOT HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE. It isn’t by choice. It is because Medicaid has not expanded in 10 states, some states are demanding work requirements that exclude some women who have part time work and families and because they can’t afford ACA plans even with subsidies. Of course, Universal Healthcare fixes this and if you can do that, great. If you can’t do that yet, then I want you to make sure that Medicaid gets expanded everywhere. Also please make sure that ACA subsidies are extended. And since I have your attention, please do not reduce SNAP/WIC benefits. Health means nothing if you have no food. Thank you.
