Aid to Ukraine is IMPERATIVE!!

Did the senate seriously fail to approve funds/munitions etc. for Ukraine?! I am wondering if my elected officials are so shortsighted they failed to remember that we signed an agreement with Ukraine back in 1994, that if they would give up their nuclear weapons, we would protect them from their enemies! Do you remember that? So now that is our responsibility! We put our word on the line that we would take care of them if they would give up their nuclear stockpile. And what does the GOP do, they refused to approve funds for Ukraine! This is very poor diplomacy! And makes our country look weak and foolish in the eyes of the world! The funds we have given Ukraine is 5% of our military budget. It has been reported that with that 5% they have destroyed 50% of the Russian army. I would say that’s a pretty good bang for our buck! Wouldn’t you?! Fred Kagan with the ISW reports that when we say we are giving $4B to Ukraine, no money changes hands! We are sending them things out of our stock pile. Things that are just in storage collecting dust. But then we use that $4B to refurbish our stock pile. This is a win-win! Because it bolsters American jobs and our economy. Because all of our munitions are 100% American made. Many of our military manufacturing companies had mothballed their production, and as a result of this aid they have been able to bring people back online and start producing again. This is a no-brainer in my book! I wonder which side of this issue Republicans are on? When y’all refused to give aid to Ukraine, Putin and his pals celebrated! So I wonder if the GOP will relish the idea of going down in history as Putin‘s assets! History will remember your actions!
