Reject Pam Bondi

I urge you to reject the nomination of Pam Bondi for any position within the administration. Her recent statements regarding potential pardons for January 6th insurrectionists demonstrate a concerning lack of commitment to accountability. Initially claiming she would review cases individually, Bondi then endorsed Donald Trump's proposal for blanket "full pardons" with no oversight or due process. This disregard for the rule of law and the grave threat posed by the Capitol attack is unacceptable. We cannot have officials in power who are willing to absolve those responsible for an assault on our democracy. Bondi's statements make clear she lacks the judgment and principles necessary to uphold the duties of public office. Her nomination must be rejected to preserve faith in our institutions and the ideal of equal justice under the law.
