Vote NO on Todd Blanche: Stop the Two-Tiered Justice System

I am writing to urge you to vote NO on the confirmation of Todd Blanche for Attorney General. Before entering government, Mr. Blanche served as Donald Trump’s personal criminal defense attorney. His actions prove he is willing to bring a dangerous double standard to our nation's highest law enforcement agency, using the law to protect his friends while punishing political opponents. Mr. Blanche's behavior shows he is completely unfit for this role for three distinct reasons: - He is willing to violate the First Amendment: He is aggressively pushing a federal criminal indictment against former FBI Director James Comey simply for posting a picture of seashells arranged into the numbers "8647". He is weaponizing the law to punish a citizen for saying a harmless phrase. - He is willing to lie to justify selective prosecution: On Meet the Press, Mr. Blanche openly stated that regular businesses selling merchandise printed with "8647" have nothing to fear because it is a common political slogan. He cannot claim a number is a harmless phrase for corporate businesses, but a dangerous crime when used by a political rival. - He is willing to weaponize the system for Donald Trump: He is carrying out a personal vendetta machine purely because Donald Trump wants him to. He has shown he will turn independent law enforcement into a private tool for political revenge rather than serving the American people. An Attorney General must serve the law, not a personal client. Please stand up for fairness, equal justice, and the rule of law by voting NO on Todd Blanche.
