Equal Access Abortion Care

Kansas Senator, Mark Steffen, R-Hutchison, has prefilled a bill, "Prohibiting the prescribing of drugs intended to cause an abortion using telemedicine and restricting the governor's power during a state of emergency to alter such prohibitions" I want all Kansans to have equal access to healthcare, including abortion, and prohibiting telemedicine abortions harms those who are far from Kansas' only abortion providers in Sedgwick, Johnson, and Wyndotte Counties. If this comes to a vote, I ask that, as my elected representative, you vote against such barbarism. Legislators and government should stay out of our medical decisions. Thank you.
