House Bill 1004 has several good provisions in it to help prevent severe price gouging by hospitals. 265% percent still feels high, it would be great if it was 200% to prevent price gouging even more, and the section for exemptions seems to have too much wiggle room that certain hospitals could get preferential treatment by getting exemptions. But, overall it is a good start. Please pass House Bill 1004.
