What is the point of Congress?

What is the point of congress now? Apparently, the President gets to decide which laws should be followed and which ones should be ignored. Are you going to allow far-reaching Presidential Executive Orders to replace congressional legislation? Are you going to allow the President to decide how congressional appropriations are to be spent or allow the President to completely ignore congressionally approved funding? If you don't make drastic moves to stop the unconstitutional power-grab of the President now, there will be no point in having a Congress. There is a reason why our Founding Fathers created three separate and independent branches of government - to prevent a dictator from gaining too much power. You MUST use your constitutional authority to stop this coup.
