Let's drastically cut military spending. We need to drastically shift resources into ensuring that our people have basic human rights such as healthcare, shelter, and food. The military is useless if we can't even provide our people with basic human necessities. The whole point of a society is to take care of it's people and we are failing. We have people living in the streets because we are prioritizing richer folks to monopolize housing in order to exploit people. We could easily house everyone. We are dying so insurance companies and pharmaceuticals can profit from us. We deserve healthcare. We have people who don't know where their next meal is. Feed us. This is exactly why we pay taxes. The military eats huge amounts of money they don't need. The DHS spies on us, rapes and tortures us. Abolish them and feed, house, and heal us.
We need to invest more in helping people and a lot less in murdering them.
