Protect Our Democracy from Foreign Tampering

It has come to light that the primary source of evidence for this inquiry is an FBI informant previously charged with "lying to the FBI and manufacturing false records" relating to the Biden family's business activities in Ukraine. This individual reportedly obtained their information from Russian intelligence sources, raising serious questions about the integrity of the committee's investigation and the potential for foreign disinformation to shape our political discourse. It is particularly alarming that Committee Chair James Comer and Rep. Jim Jordan have disseminated this information as factual, without apparent consideration of its origin or veracity. This situation begs the question of whether there has been any deeper involvement or coordination with foreign entities intent on destabilizing our political system. In light of these developments, I urge you to support a comprehensive investigation into the matter. It is imperative that we fully understand the extent of foreign tampering with our elected officials and take decisive action to safeguard our democracy from such insidious threats.
