This is directed at the ethically challenged members of the supreme (?) court. So you lifted the court order blocking the Trump administration from deporting Venezuelan migrants under an 18th century wartime law.
Why do you think Trump will handle the implications in a responsible way? It’s like you don’t know the man at all. Or maybe you do and you’re in full support of his mobster rule.
According to the AP, “The court said the migrants still must get a chance to challenge their deportation before they are taken out of the country and said the Trump administration must give them “reasonable time” to go to court.”
That part was to assuage your conscience, I presume. You must know the Trump administration will never comply with that. And you’ve created an open season on all Americans. Trump can now take anyone off the street and send them away without due process. He’s already done it and now will feel free to do it again and again. But just so you know, we are not afraid. We will continue to speak out and support democracy no matter what you do.
Future generations will look at your legacy and say, “WTF?”
