America must support Ukraine

America must stand firmly with Ukraine against Russian aggression. The verbal attacks on President Zelensky by Trump and Vance were an embarrassment that damages America's credibility and leadership role on the world stage. Such disrespect towards a democratic ally defending itself from an illegal invasion is unacceptable. We should be providing unwavering support to Ukraine, not bullying them into accepting concessions to an authoritarian aggressor. This incident risks emboldening Putin and other adversaries who seek to undermine the rules-based international order. Maintaining strong solidarity with Ukraine is critical for upholding democratic values, deterring future conflicts, and protecting American interests abroad. We cannot allow disagreements over strategy to fracture our alliance or weaken our resolve in this pivotal struggle for sovereignty and self-determination.
