An open letter to State Governors (Tenn. only)

VOTE NO on new TN Open Carry Laws

1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

I cannot comprehend why you think Tennesseans need instant access to loaded long guns and why you believe 18 year olds in TN need the ability to carry loaded hand guns almost anywhere they want. Further more, why would you want to make the state a more dangerous place to live AND feel the need to set aside $17M to pay for legal challenges to dangers presented by HB 2554 and HB 1735. Just because you and Cameron Sexton want loaded guns EVERYWHERE does not mean the majority of Tennesseans want our state turned into a place where you need to worry about being shot anywhere you go in the state. I strongly urge you to rethink what your priorities should be, Governor. Worry about the livability of the state not the selfish desire of people who think you need a loaded hand gun for a trip to the grocery store. This is LUNACY, and you appear to be the man at the helm. Please check your Wild West cowboy attitude at the door and think about what you’re doing to what has been a great place to work, play and live. DO NOT SIGN THESE BILLS if the House and Senate send them to you.
