A Big Beautiful Bill or a Spiritual Catastrophe?

You want to vote to strip care from 16 million souls and dare to call it “beautiful.” Jesus healed the sick. You vote to wound them. You say you vote “pro-life” while signing the death warrant of the God’s people. You claim to be the party of Christian values and yet show that through corruption, trading human lives for corporate profits, labeling innocents as threats to justify illegal ICE raids, and sacrificing the basic needs of the many for tax cuts to your wealthy donors, you are not. You have become everything Christ stood against. Mitch McConnell mocked the pain with this: “I know a lot of us are hearing from people back home about Medicaid. But they’ll get over it.” This is not leadership. It is spiritual rot. Trump won by just 2.28 million votes in 2024. That is a 1.48 percent margin. But this bill harms 16 million people. That is over seven times his margin of victory or more than 10 percent of all voters. If even a fraction of those people see through your cruelty and lies, your power crumbles. Not just morally but mathematically. But this is bigger than politics. “You snakes, you brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?” (Matthew 23:33) You vote. You justify. You deflect. But God sees what you do. Hope that gets you into heaven and not hell.
