Our immigration system is broken. President Trump’s mass deportation agenda has resulted in ICE shooting people in the streets, abusing countless immigrants in detention centers, and terrorizing our neighborhoods. Meanwhile, millions of people who are part of American communities – raising families, paying taxes, and contributing to the economic and cultural vibrancy of our towns – face the threat of deportation while they’re denied any path to legal protection or becoming citizens.
