Vote NO on the Republican reconciliation bill

Currently the Republican budget reconciliation bill contains multiple unethical, undemocratic, and unequitable provisions. Unless the bill is revised to be equitable for the nation, vote NO on the Republican reconciliation bill. Having read news articles and publications, it is my understanding that the Republican budget reconciliation bill would be the largest transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich in a single law in U.S. history. The bill passed the House, with all Democrats and two Republicans voting no, and is now headed to the Senate. This is the moment for all Representatives, who believe in democracy, to do everything possible to eliminate all of the unequitable and unethical parts of the Republican reconciliation bill. Some of the many highly concerning individual provisions: Medicaid cuts and work requirements Medicare cuts SNAP cuts Massive increase in funds for deportation and detainment Eliminating the clean energy tax cuts from the Inflation Reduction Act Trillion dollar Pentagon budget and billions for Elon Musk  Failing to extend premium tax credits for the Affordable Care Act Attacks on gender-affirming health care  Stripping judges of power to enforce contempt of court  Public funds being routed to private schools (school choice vouchers) PELL Grant cuts to over 1.4 million students Defunding Planned Parenthood  Ban on AI regulation  Any provision that chips away at our democracy-and basic sense of humanity Unless the bill is revised to be equitable for the nation, vote NO on the Republican reconciliation bill.
