Support Summer EBT program for children's nutrition

The Summer Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) program is an important initiative that helps provide nutritious food to children during the summer months when school meals are not available. By opting into and administering this program, the Department of Human Services can ensure that no child goes hungry while school is out of session. Proper nutrition is crucial for a child's growth, development, and ability to learn. The EBT program makes use of existing mechanisms to get food assistance directly to families in need.
