That is not a routine health update situation, and the public statement that he is "continuing to improve" while "working with staff" does not address what actually happened. This matters beyond one senator's privacy. If McConnell's seat becomes vacant, Kentucky's governor appoints a replacement rather than voters having a say. The people of Kentucky have a direct stake in knowing the true state of his health from a credible, independent medical source — not a spokesperson. His office should release a full, verified medical update immediately. Anything less is a disservice to the constituents he was elected to represent.
