Defend the Constitution—No Article V Convention

The push to convene a constitutional convention under Article V is reckless and dangerous. Venezuela’s 1999 constitutional overhaul similarly concentrated power in the executive, resulting in authoritarian rule (freedomhouse.org, 2022). This is a direct threat to American democracy.
