I support legislation that upholds our constitutional obligation to welcome those seeking asylum. Since 1980, the U.S. has resettled over three million refugees, yet recent executive actions have indefinitely suspended programs that offer safety to those fleeing violence and oppression. I’m urging you to support the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program and cosponsor H.R. 4156, the Lady Liberty Act, when it’s introduced.
