Vote no on the big beautiful bill

I'm writing demand that you oppose H.R. 1, the budget reconciliation bill, and its harmful cuts to vital government programs. Specifically, I’m very concerned about… -the massive increase to the federal deficit, (and) -the devastating cuts to Medicaid, (and) -the restrictions on Medicare eligibility and increased cost burden for Medicare-Medicaid dual enrollees, (and) -the funding increase for ICE and Trump’s mass deportation operation, (and) -the sale of millions of acres of public lands to private buyers and fossil fuel companies, (and) -the widespread roll back of clean energy tax incentives and climate protections, (and) -the unprecedented funding cuts to SNAP, (and) -the unconstitutional limits on a court’s ability to issue certain rulings, (and) -the funding cuts to gender-affirming care for patients of all ages, (and) -the funding cuts to Planned Parenthood clinical care, (and) -the 10-year ban on state AI regulation, (and) -the private school voucher program that pulls money from public schools, (and) the increased tax on college endowments, (and) -the changes to student loan access and repayment options, (and) -the changes to federal worker pay and benefits, (and) -the defunding of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, (and) -the elimination of gun silencer taxes. Congress should pass a fair and responsible budget that helps working families and communities, not one that slashes our benefits to fund tax cuts for the wealthy.
