An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Women's Rights

6 so far! Help us get to 10 signers!

It’s time for serious, well-written laws that regulate men’s bodies. They need to be written in such a way that they solve problems created by the abortion regulations to stop the counter-arguement that they’re about retribution. Whereas men’s body fluids in women’s bodies create unwanted pregnancies, and whereas consent to sex does not equal consent to pregnancy, and whereas men are the only ones who can control their issue – men are responsible for when and whether they leave their body fluids in women’s bodies. Men have 2 choices that are available to them alone: (1.) wear a condom; (2.) ejaculate externally. Hence, men are responsible to make those choices because they DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT to impregnate women who have not expressly consented to such. If a woman files an affidavit that she has been unlawfully impregnated by a man, then this is a violation of her body and she should be able to proceed for damages against him. She should be able to sue for any changes to her body, anxiety, injuries, and for the experience of pregnancy that has been forced upon her. These damages should be significant. The woman should also be able to file criminal charges against the man. Proof should consist of an affadavit from a woman declaring she did not consent to pregnancy, and DNA evidence that the resulting issue is the man’s. If a man does not have prior, written and properly documented consent from the woman to be impregnated by him, then he cannot claim such consent was given. It needs to be legally documented in order to be admissible. Criminal liability should require a man to undergo a reversible vasectomy. When a woman is willing to file a written notice with the court that she is willing to be impregnated by the man, then he can have the vasectomy reversed. Additionally, we need laws to protect women from the damages, injury, and possible death inflicted on them through pregnancy. Any woman who suffers injury or death from a pregnancy that could not be terminated has rights. Her family should be able to sue the lawmakers who have passed these laws that resulted in injury and death to a family member. If lawmakers are going to pass laws that there are no abortions with no exceptions, then they are personally liable for deaths from ecclampsia, tubal pregnancies, and other situations that can result in women’s deaths. We need to hold them accountable for the injuries and deaths that will doubtless result from the legislation they intend to pass.
