California Legislature: Vote YES on Redistricting Package

I support the call to redistrict California to neutralize the aggressive gerrymandering in other states. This is essential to preserve democracy at the federal, state, and local level to ensure everyone's vote matters. At present, black and brown and democratic communities in many states already lack representation through sneaky district lines. California must lead the way to counteract any further damage Republican states like Texas might do to cheat, and therefore nullify the votes and voices of so many people, for the 2026 midterms and years to come. This is a temporary guardrail and I would like you to vote YES on the redistricting package.
