An open letter to the U.S. House of Representatives

Protect the Knoll - concerned residents of Dobbs Ferry

28 so far! Help us get to 50 signers!

We believe this is a critical issue that demands your attention. A proposed housing subdivision defying local law has Federal EPA and New York State DEC implications on the impaired watershed of the Saw Mill River which empties into the Hudson River. It has the potential to worsen flooding in environmental justice areas and disadvantaged communities in downstream neighborhoods in Yonkers. The added stormwater runoff will also impact regional commerce by increasing the frequency of Saw Mill Parkway closures. Please attend or send a representative to the Dobbs Ferry Planning Board April 4, 2024 meeting, and contact the Dobbs Ferry Mayor and Board of Trustees and urge them to follow the local laws the Village adopted. Your assistance is greatly appreciated by the voters of Dobbs Ferry!
