Our Debt

I write to encourage you to raise the debt ceiling and carefully consider the consequences of failure to do so on your constituents. I’m seriously concerned about how the current debt ceiling fight will affect my investments and the economy in general. If you fail to pay our debts it would be a serious self inflicted wound for which voters will hold you accountable, especially the voters with more investments you rely on for much of your support. I hoped you learned your lesson in 2011, but it appears I was wrong. We are trusting you to protect our economy, not damage it by refusing to raise the debt ceiling.
