The right to vote is a fundamental right of ALL adult Americans. It is a right that shouldn’t be applied selectively, it is a universal right for all citizens regardless of their ethnicity, gender or political affiliation. We must protect that right from those who would seek to curtail it for their own selfish reasons. As one of your constituents, I expect you to uphold and protect the rights of every citizen in the USA to vote and not to obstruct or subvert voting rights for citizens who need to vote but are prevented from doing so by the laws of their state. Our objective should always be to enable the voters of this land, not to stand in their way. Much has been made of “voter fraud” but the reality is that the vast majority of voters are honest and forthright and they just need the support of our elected officials to provide a secure and verifiable process to vote that does not put excessive obstacles in their path. Fight for and restore voting rights for ALL citizens!
