Oppose Vought

I urge you to reject the nomination of Russell Vought as the Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). His previous actions as the acting OMB Director during the Trump administration demonstrated a concerning disregard for proper governance and ethical conduct. The illegal and incompetent funding freeze imposed by Vought at the OMB directly impacted the daily lives of Americans in a detrimental manner. Allowing an individual with such a track record to lead the OMB poses significant risks to the efficient and lawful functioning of the federal government. It is imperative that we have leadership at the OMB committed to upholding the rule of law and serving the best interests of the American people, rather than advancing partisan agendas at the expense of good governance.
