The United States is nearing a measles outbreak tipping point as vaccination rates decline. Rather than addressing this crisis with evidence-based leadership, RFK Jr. has continued to promote false claims linking vaccines to autism, despite overwhelming scientific consensus rejecting those claims. This misinformation undermines trust in lifesaving immunizations and contributes directly to falling vaccination rates. In addition, RFK Jr. oversaw the removal of the hepatitis B vaccine at birth from the list of vaccines guaranteed by the federal government, placing newborns at unnecessary risk and signaling a dangerous shift away from routine childhood vaccination protections. The introduction of impeachment articles reflects the seriousness of this situation. A cabinet official entrusted with safeguarding public health cannot be allowed to weaken disease prevention, legitimize misinformation, or disregard scientific evidence without consequences.
