It's "food NOT bombs," not "food AND bombs." And if the settler state of Israel really cared about civilization casualties, they would let aid trucks in without firing on the hungry. Are you really putting us the voters in the position of either voting for genocide or voting for that right wing 2025 agenda? Ceasefire is the literal least we can do, and not a temporary one. Israel's leadership has made it abundantly clear they do not regard Palestinian people as human, they have made it clear that the only ones they want alive from the river to the sea are their own Israeli settlers. We have a fraught history ourselves, quite obviously, from stealing Indigenous land to stealing African people to denying equal rights to women, and in no way do we have any moral high ground to stand on here. Continuing to bomb Gaza and destroy the West Bank is just digging us further into the pits of hell, which maybe you don't believe in, and too many are living in hell on earth for anyone paying attention to concern themselves with an afterlife variety of it. But do we have to be the ones enforcing the suffering of so many? We are being torn apart internally while physically tearing apart the homes and families of Palestinians. This had to stop months ago, years ago. October 7 was not the beginning, the Nakba 75 years ago should never have been allowed to happen. Permanent ceasefire now. Get the aid trucks in, feed the people, support Palestine in rebuilding and replanting all of the olive trees razed by Israeli occupation. Look at what's happening there, Iook at how they have been struggling to live for the last 75 years. Look at the devastation wrought by American bombs and money given without remorse or accountability. Jews deserve better than to be linked with this atrocious evil. They are to be the light of the world, the salt of the earth, not the light of atomic bombs and the salting of agricultural lands. And just as Trump is a symptom of American extremism, so Netanyahu is a symptom, because so many let him get away with it, so many follow his orders. This is not okay.
