I Support House Bill 1083

I want to voice my support for House Bill 1083 to forego recovery of unemployment over-payments. These funds were mistakenly distributed through no fault of the recipients, who are already struggling to survive in our state's COVID economy while trying to navigate the inconsistent morass of state and federal responses to this crisis. Apart from the harm of recuperating these funds, I'm also leery of the effort and cost of doing so. Please, leave well enough alone, and instead focus on improving the processes and infrastructure that allowed this mistake in the first place.
