Address the decline of US lifespan. Squash bad policies & anti-science-stunts

Trump is damaging life, health and survival with every action............................................................ His inappropriate and preposterous executive order on vaccines is only the latest of an incessant campaign of damage that has included axing ground-breaking research and cutting access to health insurance..... More cuts to Medicaid are now on the MAGA to-do list..No mistake: these policies shorten the average life span. No doubt, they will cause deaths. ........................................................ The US has an average life expectancy at the lowest end of the range of developed countries; it is one of few nations where average life expectancy is *declining*................................. And guess what? LIFE EXPECTANCY IS DECLINING FASTER in RED STATES and AMONG REPUBLICANS than it is in Blue states and among Dems. Yes, that is a fact, statistically measurable, documented..................... . The reason? ANTI-SCIENCE and ANTI-MEDICINE propaganda are deceiving Republicans and the poorly educated at the greatest rate. Of course, obstacles to accessing health care, especially preventive care are also a factor.............. This is monstrous.... Ask yourself and your colleagues: are you in public service to shorten the lives of those you should serve? Because that is what is happening. What clearer sign is there that this administration is not fostering life, health, and well-being. Whom does Congress serve???? ................................ .While Congress is on recess, I ask you and your staff to get informed about these issues and consider measures to combat the turn against science. Get a strategy to remedy the failure of medical and health policy. Using your platform to draw attention to these issues is a first action. When Congress is back in session, I ask you to hold hearings when you come back in session to expose these issues and educate the nation.
