My Vote Depends on Ending State Control Over Pregnant Bodies — Even in Death

I am writing as your constituent to express my outrage over the case of Adriana Smith, a 30-year-old nurse in Georgia who was declared brain-dead in February but is still being kept on life support—against her family's wishes—because she was pregnant.
This is not only a human rights violation, it is a terrifying display of how extreme anti-abortion laws can strip people of autonomy, even after death. Even after the Georgia Attorney General clarified that their abortion ban does not require this, her family has no say. This is government overreach at its most grotesque.
I want to make it very clear: my vote depends on whether you take action to prevent this from happening in any other state.
As your constituent, I demand that you:
Speak out publicly against this abuse.
Sponsor or support federal legislation protecting posthumous bodily autonomy and affirming the right of next of kin to make end-of-life decisions.
Work to repeal or prevent extremist abortion bans that override consent, dignity, and humanity.
I’m asking for you to use your platform and your power to ensure no one else is forced into this horror—living or dead. Also send this to the House Judiciary Committee and the Senate HELP Committee.
This will affect how I vote, talk to others, and organize.
