Resistbot Petition: Pandemic-Related Measures in the December Omnibus Bill

An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Pandemic-Related Measures in the December Omnibus Bill

216 so far! Help us get to 250 signers!

I am writing today to urgently ask you to support President Biden's request for emergency pandemic funding in the December Omnibus bill. The funding would help our communities prepare for the winter surge, which has already overwhelmed children’s hospitals, and lay the groundwork for a healthier nation that is able to work and live life to the fullest. The funds from this bill will be critical for free access to Covid tests, vaccines and treatments (including funding for Long Covid research), next generation vaccines and solutions such as FDA clearance for preventive nasal sprays already available around the world. Additionally, children MUST be included in these plans so the next generation can grow up healthy. By investing in a healthy community, we not only protect the most vulnerable among us, but we also allow people to stay at work and grow the economy. Please fully support the Omnibus bill’s funding for these pandemic-related measures. This is the time to invest in pandemic research and solutions to ensure a stronger community for the future. Thank you.
