Eliminating such a substantial portion of the VA workforce risks leaving many veterans without access to the healthcare, benefits, and support they have earned and deserve. This proposal appears to prioritize arbitrary workforce reductions ahead of the well-being of those who have served. Veterans have already endured immense hardship, and further compromising the resources intended to assist them is unacceptable. The VA exists to serve this vulnerable population, not as a vehicle for indiscriminate downsizing of the federal government. I urge you to vehemently oppose these planned job cuts and protect the VA's capacity to fulfill its critical mission of caring for our nation's heroes.
