Defund ICE!!

The DHS arrest of the mayor of Newark and mistreatment of two New Jersey congressional Democrats by armed federal agents raises grave civil liberties and balance of power concerns. Such overreach and abuse of power by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) against elected officials cannot be tolerated in a democracy. Threatening to arrest Members of Congress for exercising their lawful oversight authority is another example of the Trump administration and DHS abusing its power to try to intimidate anyone who stands up to them. Immediate action must be taken to investigate these shocking incidents thoroughly, and put an immediate end to DHS abductions and threats towards lawful residences and citizens.
