Co-sponsor HR 8470, the Surveillance Accountability Act

I am writing as your constituent to urge your support for H.R. 8470, the Surveillance Accountability Act. The importance of this legislation transcends partisan divides. Right now, the government can buy and search Americans’ private data—including location, financial records, and even information about our beliefs—without a warrant, judge, or oversight. This bill closes that loophole, and holds those who violate our Fourth Amendment rights accountable. As a member of the House, I urge you to co-sponsor H.R. 8470.
