Stop Politicized "Witch Hunts", and Prioritize Epstein Victims

I am writing to express my outrage over what has become a systemic weaponization of our legal system. It is clear that the Department of Justice and the House Oversight Committee are prioritizing personal vendettas over the pursuit of actual criminals—specifically those involved in the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking ring.
I am asking you to address three clear examples of this misuse of power:
-- The "Autopen" Diversion: Thousands of taxpayer hours have been wasted investigating a mechanical signature device used by every president for decades. This is a clear attempt to manufacture a "scandal" where none exists.
-- Failed Political Indictments: The DOJ recently attempted to prosecute James Comey and Letitia James using an unlawfully appointed prosecutor. These cases were dismissed by a federal judge, yet the DOJ continues to waste money on appeals for these personal grudges.
-- Targeting Private Law Firms: The administration has issued unprecedented executive orders to blacklist law firms like Covington & Burling and Paul, Weiss simply because they represented the Special Counsel or January 6 whistleblowers. This is an unconstitutional attack on the right to counsel.
While the government finds endless resources for these "witch hunts," it is actively obstructing the Epstein investigation. Since the Epstein Files Transparency Act was passed, the DOJ has removed nearly 48,000 files from the public database. It is unacceptable that the DOJ is "scrubbing" evidence of child trafficking while simultaneously hunting down political rivals and signature machines.
As your constituent, I demand that you:
-- Oppose the continued use of DOJ funds for the autopen and retaliatory legal appeals.
-- Call for a full audit of the DOJ’s removal of Epstein files and demand their immediate restoration.
-- Investigate why resources are being diverted from white-collar and sex trafficking units into these political task forces.
I expect my representatives to prioritize the protection of children and the integrity of the law over political scores. I look forward to your response on how you plan to address these imbalances.
