An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Demand Full Compliance With the Epstein Files Transparency Act

62 so far! Help us get to 100 signers!

Demand that the DOJ comply immediately with Judge Emmet Sullivan's order and release the Epstein files as required by the Epstein Files Transparency Act — a law Trump signed himself. The DOJ missed its December 19 deadline and is now asking the court to delay two more months or dissolve the order entirely. That is not transparency. That is stonewalling. Judge Sullivan's order didn't even require releasing survivor names. It required the DOJ to justify its redactions, produce supporting records, and publish a redaction log. The department's refusal to meet that basic standard — while calling the judge's interpretation "perverse" — is contempt dressed up as compliance. Worse, the DOJ has already exposed roughly 100 survivors by publishing their private information, while apparently shielding powerful figures connected to Epstein. The law is clear. The court order is clear. Push the DOJ to stop running out the clock and release what the public is legally owed.
