Happy May Day. The American work force will be in the streets roaring today. They are tired of their lives being manipulated by billionaires and the president they bought and paid for.
While these world-wide organized protests continue to gain in numbers and strength, amplifying citizens’ disapproval of the Trump administration, it’s becoming apparent the best advertisement for incompetence are the Trump folks themselves.
The president, who can’t keep his mouth shut, but probably should, illustrates why he is an out-of-touch, uneducated in the ways of the world, insecure to the point of disfunction, compulsive fabricator every time he is asked a question about anything.
And he loses it when someone doesn’t support his lies. (Great interview tactic by the way. A regular Capt. Queeq moment with Terry Moran.)
Cabinet members, whose camera-readiness doesn’t help a bit in the jobs they were given, continue to prove the point that experience actually does matter. And lack of it plus hubris equals disaster.
“[Insert Trump administration official’s name here] got questions and that’s when it fell apart,” one person familiar with the meeting told [insert media name here]. “When you’re with an audience that knows a lot, the talking points are taken apart pretty quickly.”
It really is the most ridiculously incompetent if not downright lawless rogue’s gallery administration we’ve seen in our lifetimes. I almost feel sorry for them.
But I feel way more sorry for our country.
And just a reminder, the GOP Congress owns it all.
