Vote No On The House Budget -It's Designed To Harm Women & Healthcare

I am your constituent and I want you to vote against the House budget bill and here are my reasons. 1) It cuts supplemental nutrition by $300 billion over 10 years and 12% of us need that help to get enough to eat. 2) It cuts Medicaid drastically, by $800 billion over 10 years and 24% of us rely on it for our health insurance. 3) 41% of all babies are born on Medicaid and the Medicaid cuts will force about 200 hospitals to close See state by state list by the Center for American Progress, https://www.americanprogress.org/article/medicaid-cuts-would-threaten-rural-hospitals. 4) The budget cuts out an important Medicaid provider, Planned Parenthood, who provides essential cancer and STI screenings and a wide range of healthcare to women on Medicaid. While I have your attention please increase Medicaid Ob/Gun payments so more hospitals keep those programs and women don’t increase the time to get to an appointment. The longer the travel time the greater the risk. Thank you.
