Please do everything in your power to help Deb Haaland become confirmed for Interior Secretary. After four years of intense racism from the White House, and the building of white supremacy, we need the balance of forwarding the first indigenous-American woman into a US Presidential cabinet.
Climate change and species extinction threaten to completely overwhelm us now. It is not "radical" to want to protect the earth for our children and their children.
We are in the midst of tipping points and feedback loops of heating that cast doubt even on our capacity to mitigate climate at 1.5 Celsius above pre-industrial levels. It is not "radical" to plan for our children to live on a habitable Earth.
Deb Haaland brings a sense of hope and ethos of renewable stewardship of US lands that we desperately need now, before it is too late.
