As one of your constituents, I am telling you do NOT cave in on a deal to stop the government shutdown. The Republicans are hurting people, and will continue to hurt people unless you hold the line. People's lives are at stake, and you are putting trust in the opposition, where there should be none.
DO NOT CAVE. DEMAND protection for tax credits. Hold Trump and the GOP accountable for stealing food from children by withholding SNAP funds. Hold them accountable for stealing health care from families. Hold them accountable for letting loose a secret police force on the streets to kidnap people. You are not helping anyone if you cave in now. Keep the shutdown going until the opposition caves, because they will have to.
