Stop messing with the Kansas Constitution. It was made by the people for the people. It supports freedom. SCR 1611 removes checks and balances. It’s anti-democracy. It’s anti-Kansas. It is intended to create a completely partisan court. Our constitution believes checks and balances and an independent judiciary are so important that this bill would have to change and amend sections 5, 8 and 15 of article 3 of the constitution of the state of Kansas. Vote no. Don’t attack the constitution you’re sworn to protect.
