STOP ICE'S ATTACKS ON OUR COMMUNITIES

Reckless and murderous ICE and Border Patrol enforcement operations across the USA are hurting and endangering children, families, and our communities. Congress must act now to rein in ICE. ICE's violent operations show a complete disregard for the law and our basic civil rights. The federal agents terrorizing our communities must be stopped before others are hurt by the current authoritarian regime's Gestapo-esque abuses. As a member of Congress, you have a responsibility to hold ICE accountable for these abuses and demand answers for the safety of every person that you represent. Specifically, I'm urging you to defund ICE until an oversight committee can be instated and ensure that all agents are properly trained and held accountable for any and all misconduct or illegal activities. Meanwhile: • Demand an end to rogue ICE operations and stop large-scale escalations in our communities • Oppose any further funding to ICE's enforcement and detention budget • Launch a transparent and independent investigation into the killing of Renee Nicole Good, ICE's reckless hiring spree, and its apparent failure to hold its agents accountable to the law We cannot sit idly by as our neighbors are literally murdered in the streets. Every day, more people are subjected to harm and abuse at the hands of ICE, and more and more of your constituents are living in fear. I hope you'll act immediately to stop ICE's escalation and protect us all.
